NOTES: This album was commissioned by Baron James de Rothschild & is numbered 16 of an edition of 25. It was presented to C. Picard (the title page bears his name and the album cover is blindstamped with his initials). According to Malcolm Daniel there are two significant variants to the Paris-Boulogne edition of the "Nord" series of albums. See --Image--, vol. 35, nos. 3-4. See 74:0051:1 for album inscriptions.
