According to Museum accession records this portrait is of Gabriel Harrison's son Washington Harrison (born November 14, 1938) and "This picture won the prize either at the Paris Exposition or Crystal Palace, London in 1851." Museum accession records describe this object as "Boy with shroud carrying the Cross".
