"Original reproduced in heliogravure [only the head] by the 'Daguerre
Committee' for the monument of Cormeilles-en-Parisis in 1883; probably
the oldest portrait of Daguerre in daguerreotype, on a plate at first,
thick and non-beveled;in any case his only dated portrait; Daguerre
was 57 years old."
"Acquired by the granddaughter of Sabatier-Blot, Madame Libert,
daughter of Victor Laisné, photographer, married to the daughter of
Sabatier-Blot, daughter of which I have two portraits of childhood
taken in daguerreotype by her father."
