INSCRIPTION: verso (in ink) "Convent garden at Sinai and plain El Raher when the Israilites are supposed to have encamp? March 1851"

NOTES: Waxed for printing. Retouched with black ink. Two slips at upper corners. Although inscription states date for image as 1851, other inscribed images of different locations in Italy indicate that a more precise date for this image is March 1852. Catalogued 5/92, MAP.
