INSCRIPTION: recto -- (letterpress) numbered title. verso -- (letterpress) photographer's logo. verso (handwritten in pencil) "Glen House Sept 15 1866 / [illegible] / May".

FRAME: yellow mount with square corners

NOTES: The Glen House [inscrip.] was a resort hotel in the White Mts. of N.H. Soule's stereograph, although inverted, is very similar to and may be a pirate copy of L.M. Rutherford's 1864 negative. (see 81:6119:1) Cataloged 3/86, GD.
