NOTES: Catalogued 9/89, DZ. "Heartfield adapted a photograph of Goring that appeared on the cover of the previous issue of AIZ. Josef Beck (1894-1944), Polish foreign minister from 1932 to 1939, was architect of the German-Polish nonaggression pact of 1934. The constellation "Grosser Bar" (Great Bear) represents the Soviet Union." [Evans, p. 292]
