NOTES:
  First Leica rangefinder with through-the lens (TTL) metering. Cds cell
  receptor is mounted on movable swing arm which retracts out of image
  path just before shutter is opened. Meter system makes the M5 body
  taller and heavier than M4. Early versions have strap lugs at one end
  of body, later versions have three strap lugs. Available in silver
  chrome or black chrome.
