"1917. This amateur hand cranked camera uses 17˝mm film that has two
round perforations on each side of the picture frame. The shutter
has a fixed opening and the lens has a fixed aperature and focus. The
camera used a simple type of film magazine. The processed positive
print on safety film was returned from Eastman on a similar magazine
for use in a companion projector. A library of feature films was
offered. This home motion picture system featured simplicity."
