The Gaumont Chronochrome is a three-color additive projector first
demonstrated at the Société Français de Photographie on November 15,
1912. The system consists of a special three-lens camera and
corresponding projector. The camera records three images (14x24mm)
simultaneously through red, green, and blue filters on a single strip
of 35mm fikm. This is accomplished by a nine perforation pull down.
The projection lens has adjustments for registration for the upper
(green) lower lens (blue); the center lens (red) is fixed.
