NOTES: Catalogued 8/89, DZ. "Barrow's last lithograph to date (1986) is Springerville Variant, 1982. A surprisingly small work, it is the most aggressive of the lithographs. Springerville Variant illustrates Barrow's fascination with process and materials and his experiments in cross-media combinations. The print looks much like a Cibachrome photograph of a caulked color Xerox print, but it is a lithograph with a glossy black border added using the screen print process." --Inventories and Transformations; The Photographs of Thomas Barrow--, pg. 135-136.
