The FF or Reporter is a Leica Model D designed to take 250 exposures
on 33 feet of film. Easily distinguished by the large film chambers at
each end of the camera, which hold special film cassettes. It is
a cassette to cassette camera, the film is not re-wound from the
take-up spool. Available in black enamel body with nickle fittings or
black enamel body with chrome fittings. Chrome versions exist, but
factory records do not list these cameras. Later cameras have top
shutter speed of 1/1000. These cameras are sometimes called Model GG,
but this was not a factory designation.
