NOTES:
  "In September 1903, Konishi Honten introduced an 'educational photo-
  graphic device,' a Meishi size camera called the Cherry Portable. An
  advertisement for this two yen amateur camera, manufactured at the
  subsidiary Kubo factory said: 'We have produced a low cost camera by
  eliminating decorative features otherwise unnecessary in the function
  of the camera since the more elaborate, completely equipped cameras
  are costly and not appropriate for teaching children.'" (Lewis, 1991).
  The Cherry is the fisrt Konishi Honten hand camera, and is similar to
  the W. Buthcer 'Little Nipper'. (TFG).
