NOTES:
  "1940-1947. Metal drop-bed with two focus knobs. Rising/shifting
  lens standard. Wooden lensboard. Telescoping sportsfinder. No body
  release for front shutter. All black (wartime models) or chrome trim.
  4x5". " (McKeown, 1997).
  "Standard graflex focal plane shutter 1/10 - 1/1000 plus "T". Graphic
  back with spring supported focusing panel allowing film holders to be
  inserted forward of the glass. Panel fitted with door and side wings.
  Graflex back also available. Linked front and rear tracks on bed.
  Rising, falling and shifting front standard. Drop bed for w.a., model
  "C" 4"square lensboard, 13"bellows extension. Special order back and
  curtain for #31 and 2A flash bulb sync. WW II model called C-4, the
  standard camera for all Allied Countries (finished in black with no
  chrome parts.) Helical rack and pinion focusing, dual focusing knobs,
  vernier focusing scales, tubular finder with parallax adjustment, open
  frame finder system with folding rear peepsight and telescoping front
  frame. Listed with internally coupled Kalart and Hugo Meyer
  rangefinders (optional.) Accepted a variety of flash synchronizers.
  Included in this collection are the US Navy Pearl Harbor Camera
  (s/n 279280), the Joe Rosenthal camera (s/n 335133), and the "D-Day
  Invasion Camera" (s/n 315353)." (T. Holden, 1999).
