"Bertch's Automatic Camera. Dated by the George Eastman House to 1861,
this simple apparatus has an achromatic meniscus lens of fixed focus
(hence the name 'automatic') and tubular finder. Circular view less th
than 2 cm in diameter (1 in) were taken on 3.7 cm (1 1/2 in) wet
collodion plates." (Auer, 1975).
