NOTES: Catalogued 5/94, DZ. According to research done by Oliver Botar (Toronto, Canada), "this is a portrait of the art collector and internationally respected specialist in public health, population and family planning policy, Dr. Hans Harmsen. Harmsen was the German who cared for Moholy-Nagy after his arrival in Berlin in mid March 1920, when he was seriously ill with the flu."
